Welcome to the 40^th Annual Palisade Peach Festival

August 14-17, 2008

 

In the spirit of building on tradition, the Palisade Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Palisade invite you to experience this year’s Peach Festival. The Festival kicks off on Thursday, August 14, 2008 with four days of fun-filled, entertaining events. With more than 100 food, art and craft vendors, great live musical entertainment, a fantastic children’s area, various culinary activities, numerous special events, and of course…peaches, we are certain that there is something for everyone at this year’s festival!

 

Festivities get underway Thursday evening, August 14 in downtown Palisade with the Ice Cream Social and Street Dance and the “passing of the torch” between the outgoing and incoming Town Grouch.

 

Friday afternoon and Saturday are highlighted by the Peach Festival at Riverbend Park with a variety of other events taking place around town.

 

Along with the festival in the park, there are plenty of opportunities for a genuine Palisade Experience throughout the four days − from guided orchard tours, to a historical walking tour, to self-guided biking and rafting trips and the Sunday Farmers Market.

 

Not only is the Palisade Peach Festival full of fun events but it is also a way for us to showcase Palisade’s shops, artists, fruit stands and orchards, restaurants, wineries and bed & breakfasts. We encourage you to visit these businesses during and after the festival.
