Palisade Peach Fest Run

The Palisade Peach Fest Run is back for its fourth year. Plus we have added a 3-mile run/walk. For many years there has been a run/walk event associated with the Peach Festival. The event has ranged from a 3-mile run through town to a 6-mile run out River Road. The expansion of Palisade’s Riverbend Park presented a perfect opportunity to hold the event where it is 95% trail or path running and virtually traffic free.

The race starts promptly at 8:00 AM on Saturday, August 15th. Both courses start and end at Taylor Elementary School and head toward the flowing waters of the Colorado River.

The return leg takes advantage of the trails created within the Disc-Golf course and run/walk some exciting single-track under the shade of huge cottonwoods. Just for kicks, the lone uphill is near the finish and gives participants a short challenge before the finish line. Refreshments, music and, of course, peaches courtesy of High Country Orchards will be available.

EARLY registration is $25 until August 10th. Your registration guarantees you a t-shirt and entry in to the Palisade Peach Fest!

LATE and RACE DAY Registration is available. After August 10th registration cost is $30. If you are mailing your registration in it must be post marked by no later than August 13th. RACE DAY registration will be at Taylor Elementary starting at 7:00 AM. Cost is $30.00 and includes a t-shirt (while they last) and entry in to Peach Fest. PRIZES: The top 3 Male/Female racers in each event, 3-mile and 5-mile race, will receive awards.
